Our work brings together architectural design, modular construction and, where required, conventional building methods.
By approaching each project as an integrated system, homes can be tailored to their site while benefiting from the precision and efficiency of off-site construction. Key decisions are resolved earlier, allowing for more controlled and predictable outcomes.
Every project begins with an understanding of the site, the people who will live there and the opportunities modular construction can offer. Our process brings together architectural design, modular manufacturing and on-site installation to deliver homes with greater certainty, speed and precision.
These projects are currently in development, ranging from early design stages through to construction.
A selection of modular buildings exploring efficient construction and flexible spatial design.
Our projects draw on experience across both modular manufacturing and conventional construction. This flexibility allows each home to be delivered using the most appropriate building method — and often a combination of both.
Modular and Traditional Expertise
Project Status: In Construction
Expected Completion: 2026
Scope: Dwelling on Sloping Site
Cringila House is a prefabricated modular dwelling designed for a steeply sloping site.
Entry occurs from the street via a covered carport, with a series of steps leading down to the house. While the dwelling is technically a single storey, the internal spaces are arranged across half-levels stepping approximately one metre at a time, allowing the home to follow the natural slope of the land.
The house is constructed using four volumetric modules, positioned to maximise views and connection to the backyard. Generous glazing and operable louvres provide natural ventilation and passive cooling, allowing the living areas to open outward toward the landscape.

Scope: Secondary Dwelling
A prefabricated secondary dwelling designed for a tight inner-city site in Forest Lodge. The home is arranged as a series of modular volumes connected by a central breezeway, allowing indoor spaces to open directly to the courtyard and timber deck.
The breezeway acts as both circulation and an outdoor room, strengthening the connection between living spaces and the surrounding garden while promoting natural ventilation. Bedrooms are located on the upper level, providing privacy while maintaining a visual connection to the outdoor spaces below.
This project demonstrates how modular construction can create compact dwellings that balance indoor and outdoor living within dense urban contexts.
Modules: 4
Area: 94m²
Levels: Two Storey

Project Status: Design Development
Expected Completion: 2027
Scope: Alteration & Additions
This project combines the renovation of an existing ground floor with a modular extension designed for a growing family. The new layout introduces a larger kitchen and living area connected to the backyard, alongside additional spaces including a pantry, laundry and bathroom.
An L-shaped modular addition frames an outdoor deck, while a glazed link connects the existing home to the new extension. The relocation of the garage to the site boundary allows for a more efficient and functional reorganisation of the home.
